Welcome to Wax Passion!
My name is Angel!
I am here to help with any body hair removal you may need. While I do understand my job is very much a luxury, I also want to treat your service as part of a necessity in your daily life.
Why?
With waxing being a service treat that it is for most people, I have waxed guests where their own body hair was causing them an issue of some kind. I want to be able to use my service(s) and skills for anyone in a helping manor to make their day brighter and a bit 'smoother.'
All are welcome to come get waxed! I look forward to meeting people from different walks of life. However I do ask anyone under the age of 18 to have a parent/gaurdian sign for them.
For anyone new to waxing and looking to make an appointment, here are some tips I highly recommend to make your waxing experience go as 'smooth' as possible.
The first thing to know, is that your first few waxes might possibly not be completely smooth. This is a very normal occurrence. Your body needs time to adjust. I recommend you start waxing 4 to 6 months in advance for a big event or vacation you have planned.
Hair length to wax should be a quarter of an inch(1/4) MINIMUM. To determine this, I ask that you stop shaving/plucking for 2 to 3 weeks BEFORE appointment. Other examples to determine this; hair is the length of a grain of rice, or you can grab your hair with the tip of your fingers and pull on it without struggle.
If you use any prescribed acne medications/ointments, depending on the brand, I recommend you talk to your doctor before getting waxed. Other acne medications/ointments may require you stop using the product for a certain duration of time. Acne medications/ointments can thin the skin and potentially lift skin or cause injury.
Exfloiate area that's going to be waxed 48 hours prior to your appointment. This will help remove dead skin cells and help pop up some hairs that may have been coming through the skin. Also try to avoid any oils or lotions until after you are waxed.
Do NOT go UV/Sun tanning within 48 hours prior and after a wax. This increases the chance for skin to lift or cause injury.
Spray tan is 14 hours prior and after a wax.
Come with a smile and an open mind! While I know waxing isn't the most relaxing of services and a bit of skin care maintenance is involved, but there's something to benefit from it. And you will love the results!
When you come to your appointment, during the service I will educate you on the waxing lifestyle, how to maintain it, and what you get out of it. I want all my guests leaving my suite feeling smooth, happy and over all a new person!
If you have any questions, comments, or concerns feel free to reach out and I'll be happy to assist you in anyway I can.
Happy waxing!
